Nassau
Ryan Michael Patton, 28, of Troy, formerly of West Stephentown, was found on Tuesday November 20th, 2012, in Nassau; after an exhausting search by family, friends and the community.
Born in Troy and raised in West Stephentown, Ryan was the beloved son of Ronald M. and Marie R. Kluchesky Patton of Troy and was a 2003 graduate of Averill Park High School.
Ryan was always known as a hard worker and a talented craftsman. He was currently employed as a roofer and contractor by Phelps Brothers Roofing in Nassau.
Ryan had a love for life; he would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He adored his 1953 Chevy and had a love for boating and fishing on Burden Lake. He had a natural talent for mechanics, carpentry and enjoyed building anything for anyone. He had a passion for the 80’s horror films, a love for animals and walking and driving in the woods. Ryan was truly a devoted friend to everyone, especially Matt & Liz Michna and will be missed by all.
In addition to his beloved parents; Ronald and Marie, he is survived by his devoted brother, Eric F. Patton and Eric’s girlfriend; Christina Frisone of Troy, his paternal grandfather; Donald Patton of Troy, his nephew; Kaiden P. Patton and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother; Margaret Mason Patton and maternal grandparents; George and Clara Kluchesky.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Henry’s Church in Averill Park. Family and friends are invited and may call at St. Henry’s Church on Monday, from 2 to 7 PM.
Ryan was passionate about cars and off-roading and although our hearts are broken, we are comforted knowing that he passed while doing something he enjoyed so much. Help came in many forms and Ryan’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the love, support, compassion and professionalism that came from family, friends, law enforcement agencies and the community.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Memory of Ryan be made to Doug & Mary Lyall; The Center for Hope, 20 Prospect Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
